The Klippon® K

This extensive aluminium enclosure range features 19 different sizes in two surface finishes, powder-coated and natural. AP Haslam can assemble and supply these enclosures fitted with all necessary terminals and cable glands to your specifications.

The Klippon® POK

Made from a high-quality glass-fibre reinforced polyester, these enclosures are ideal for environments where corrosion and impact resistance – and a high IP protection class – are required. Available in 17 sizes, there are two standard finishes, Grey and Black. 

The Klippon® TB

Featuring excellent performance under the most difficult environmental conditions, these enclosures comply with the stricter requirements of potentially explosive atmospheres found in the process or power generation industries.
An electro-polished surface adds further protection against dirt and moisture and is best suited to areas such as power generation including oil, gas & petro-chemical industries.
A ‘Multi Hinged’ version of this enclosure is also available – the Klippon® TB MH. 

The Small Terminal Box (STB) is suited for the energy, process or transportation industries and is ideal where space is limited.

AP Haslam’s Perforex BC 1007 HS from Rittal, adds to the speed and efficiency of our Workshop when it comes to supplying Enclosures for Industrial and Hazardous areas.

With up to 20 tools in the magazine for drilling, tapping and milling, the Perforex machine enables hours of production work to be completed with increased speed, reducing the preparation time with its sophisticated software and preinstalled panel drawings. 

The Perforex BC 1007 HS can handle panels up to 3600×2300 mm and since programming is faster than manual marking, the system provides obvious advantages from single items to big batch production.

The Value Line

The Value Line from Weidmüller consists of unmanaged and managed switches in a high-­quality IP 30 protected metal housing. The equipment can be delivered with Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet ports. Value Line managed switches support a variety of helpful management functions, such as fast ring redundancy, port-based VLAN, QoS, RMON, bandwidth management, port mirroring and error notification via e-­mail or a relay. The ring redundancy can be simply set via the web based management interface, or with a dip switch found on the top of the switch.

The Premium Line

Weidmüller's Premium Line consists of high-­end switches with advanced management and security features. It is suitable for demanding network solutions. The equipment can be delivered with Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet ports.
One variety is fitted with Fast Ethernet and Power-­over-­Ethernet ports. With their advanced ring redundancy technology (recovery time ≤ 20 ms), these devices raise the reliability and availability of your industrial networks.
The optional SFP transceiver can be fitted offering a high degree of flexibility. Gigabit versions permit use in networks with a high volume of communications.

Weidmüller INSTA-POWER – compact, highly efficient and reliable

The single-­phase INSTA-POWER switched mode power supplies are characterised by a large power spectrum, a compact design and a good price-­performance ratio. 

They are suitable for temperature ranges from 25°C to +70°C, have international approvals and a wide range voltage input. This makes them suitable for a wide range of applications. This also includes signal and telecommunication systems as well as automation systems with low power requirements up to 96 watts.

Switched mode power supplies with above average performance values can create real competitive advantages, especially in series machine construction. They designed the PROeco series to be particularly efficient. 

With an installation depth of max. 120mm, you can easily insert the devices even into flat control boxes. And you also achieve space savings of up to 50% in width. At the same time, all basic functions are included in the compact format.

The powerful switched mode power supplies of the PROmax series are designed for demanding mechanical engineering applications. 

They show their strengths in plant engineering, in the food and beverage industry, in automotive engineering and even in plants of the process industry. 

Permanent overloads up to 20% of nominal current at 45 ¡C or short-­term peak loads until 300% of nominal current are easily absorbed by PROmax. With start-­up temperatures as low as 25°C, the power supplies are particularly robust.

What is ATEX?

A potentially explosive atmosphere (ATEX – ATmosphères EXplosives) exists when a volatile mixture of air, gas, vapour, mist or dust combines in a way that can ignite under certain conditions.

Typical circumstances occur in offshore oil & gas platforms, petrochemical plants, mines, distilleries and flour mills, amongst others.

The European ATEX Directive defines the essential health and safety requirements – and conformity assessment procedures – to be applied before products are placed on the EU market.

European countries – and those who apply the Directive’s requirements – are responsible for implementation and enforcement, as well as the management of notified bodies.

WISKA – Your benefits with CONMAXX^®

WISKA is introducing a cable entry system especially designed for switchboard installations: CONMAXX^®. The innovative 3-component modular system offers customers a whole new dimension of flexibility.

The CONMAXX^® system consists of a closed frame, variable grid inserts and conical sealing elements. The three components can be compiled individually according to requirement and application, as if in a modular system.
Even subsequent, individual changes to the wiring are no problem – without any laborious opening and closing. CONMAXX^® provides a better and easier solution to any installation requirement!

CONMAXX^® Frame 

The CONMAXX^® Frame is stable in shape and fits standardized industrial connector cutouts. Due to its closed construction there is no need for unscrewing to insert or change cables.

CONMAXX^®: Three components – endless product variants

About 100 different seals, four frame sizes and different grid inserts enable extremely flexible and individual electrical installation. Even solutions for special cables, sleeves, as well as pre-fabricated cables and wires are no problem with CONMAXX^®. The many possible combinations also reduce storage costs.
